I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) working with individuals and couples in Ontario. I completed my training at the Toronto Institute for Contemporary Psychoanalysis (TICP) and have extensive experience working with adults from diverse backgrounds. I have a background in education and visual art and love working collaboratively with clients to understand how their unique experiences in life have shaped them. I believe that the honesty and openness of a good therapeutic relationship can increase self-esteem, provide clarity and ultimately be life-changing. My goal is to foster an atmosphere where clients can speak freely about their lives and experiences without fear of judgment and to provide clients with a supportive relationship that is empathetic, authentic and consistent. Change can be difficult but extremely rewarding; you don't have to do it alone.

My Approach

MY APPROACH

Regardless of what brings you to therapy, whether it be feelings of stuckness, anxiety, loss, burnout, relationship challenges or working through past trauma, I bring a warm, curious and non-judgemental approach to our work together. I understand that each of us experiences the world based on our particular identity and life circumstances. My goal is to understand your unique experience of the world and create a space where you feel free to be your whole self as we explore what brings you to therapy.

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative and relational. We will explore patterns of thought, feeling and behaviour that may be contributing to your current difficulties. Our work together will always be individualized to suit your specific needs, and together, we will explore your inner world to foster deeper self-understanding and compassion. The goal is not only to help you gain insight into your thoughts and emotions but to empower you to create a life and relationships that feel more fulfilling, meaningful and satisfying.
